Blackthorn & Crow was born from a fascination with those stories - the darker, stranger, and more enduring parts of Irish folklore that have survived long after the world that created them began to change.
We create dark folklore clothing for culturally curious outsiders and practitioners of the old ways.
Our inspiration comes from Irish and Celtic mythology, old beliefs, folklore, nature, and the landscape itself. From the Morrigan and Badb to the ancient symbols, woodland lore, and the traditions that exisited alongside everyday life.
But this isn't about recreating the past.
It's about carrying something forward.
We believe folklore isn't something that should be confined to the pages of an old book. It continues to shape how we understand place, nature, identity, and ourselves.
